System Management
A unique feature of ExtraNetworks applications: the same executable can be run as an Internet Application or locally as a Windows application. This is ideal for system management functions where the application can be run from the LAN or WAN (Internet).

Often clients need a full-featured administration tool to track users and manage data. We can provide this functionality with only a slight amount of additional work.

Thin Client Is Reality with ExtraNetworks!
Thin client architecture has been a goal of IT groups for years. ExtraNetworks makes it reality. Applications are run from the user's Internet browser, and the content delivered from the JAS is delivered via Java code to the user. Only the portion of the application needed to perform the business task at hand is sent.

ExtraNetworks technology requires low communication bandwidth, less disk space and less memory requirements.

Automatic Software Distribution
Software is automatically distributed by the Java application broker, so organizations don't have to pay for shipping new software CD's, worry about reconciling new and old program components, higher technical support costs, or large scale training issues. Software upgrades are transparent. If a business process changes, the software can be updated and online in a matter of minutes. The very next user on the system can be utilizing the new business rules.

Three-Tier Architecture
There are tremendous advantages to three-tier architecture, including better security, less load on the back-end databases and infrastructure, and the ability to determine where business logic is performed. ExtraNetworks solutions are true three-tier systems taking advantage of these qualities.
