Webstore Financing Example - Application and Automated Approval
Note: This version opens up the application form in a new window.

Description

In this example, CreditPort Financing is offered on an example webstore shopping cart, instead of a credit card.  The buyer fills out a credit application and receives an approval or is declined--while they are online! This application will pull credit data from a bureau and display a decision on your web browser within seconds. The application data you enter will be replaced with sample data for someone with good credit.

Alternatively
CreditPort can be integrated with other decisioning products, such as Trans Union's Acquire product.  Acquire allows users to set up a matrix of lending habits and returns offer information to the web user.  The user can either be an employee of the institution, or a customer applying over the Internet.  CreditPort provides a unique delivery system that is both fast and secure.  Acquire has the advantage of not accessing credit information that requires permissible purpose.

Details
How do E-tailers close the gap between startup losses and profitability? One way is by offering financing to their customers.  It is important for credit decisions to be quick.  Capturing the spontaneity of the sale is important.  Unlike so many other online financing sites that take days to render a decision, CreditPort can deliver a response in seconds!  Financing consumers not only boosts sales by offering credit to those who may not buy because they are short on cash, but provides a positive marketing tool to drive business to your site, regardless of how the consumer pays.  This example starts from a mock webstore cart where the user selects CreditPort financing from the drop down payment methods list.  Upon submitting the form, a popup application form appears where the user fills out some basic information about their purchase.  After submitting the form, the user is given a decision on whether they are financed... within seconds.

This is a good example of how CreditPort can be customized to match the look of your webstore or site.  The application form can also appear in the next window instead of a different one.  While our expert staff of web designers and developers can custom build the application and credit decision page for your company, you can also call a generic form and report within a frame in your application.  This method allows you to build graphics around your form, and still look like your own site with no customization at all.  In this example, CreditPort As in this example, CreditPort is displayed in a frame within our website, making it appear as a natural element.

Frequently Asked Questions
Q.
What is the decision based on?
A. In this example, the decision is based purely on a range of three scores.  Two different offers are made, based on the credit worthiness of the applicant (a lower credit risk returns a better credit offer).  The Poor Credit applicant not only receives a declined notice, but instantly sees the reason why and given the credit bureau's information.

Q. What if my credit decision are more complex?
A. Test data is restored by the credit bureau to its original state approximately every day, so data will not always be the same.
