We are looking for seasoned Clarion developers to help us build world class applications primarily for the Internet. An aggressive product development schedule requires focus and maturity to complete projects on time. A portion of the work is spent on developing and maintaining our CreditPort software, enhancing our feature set, and also building user interfaces and custom modules for customer systems that will interact with the CreditPort Internet servers.

Qualifications

You must bring maturity, organization and methodology to your position. You will need to stick to tight deadlines, provide accurate estimates to the product development schedule, and understand application development lifecycle methodologies.

Mature engineers must be self starters and able to manage their own work, as well as manage "up" when required to do so.

You must have a thorough understanding of Clarion for Windows (version 4 or 5), preferrably with Internet Connect (CWIC), in the caffeine-free development of web applications. Experience with HTML, JavaScript, Java, and high-end SQL and ODBC databases, such a Oracle, MS SQL, and others is preferred.  All engineering positions are hired based on an aptitude test which reflects the dimension of our leading edge development work.  Minimum of 1-2 years of CW experience is required. We are willing to train experienced Clarion developers in our web development technologies.

Other skills are also useful, including JavaBean, EJB, JODBC, Active-X, OCX, and OLE, and other means of connecting data to legacy and other systems. Also, experience with workflow, CASE tools, development methodologies, project planning and scheduling, and business rules and logic are helpful.

Preference will be given to developers with Internet communication and protocol expertise, such as FTP, MIME, HTTP, and SMTP. Knowledge of Internet security, like SSL, firewalls, NT and UNIX are also helpful.
